Atlanta Hawks unveil incredibly terrifying Paul Millsap 3D billboard

As if traffic in-and-around the greater Atlanta-area couldn’t get any worse, the Atlanta Hawks commissioned the production of a 700-pound, 15-foot tall 3D billboard of Paul Millsap. Probably because most people in Atlanta wouldn’t know who Paul Millsap was if he came up to them and told him he was Paul Millsap (Hawks rank 28th in attendance).

Though Millsap is having a fantastic year, and has the Hawks in position for a playoff spot and the right to be destroyed by the Heat in the first round. The Hawks are looking for a way to attract attention. Well, this incredibly terrifying way is certainly an eye-catcher:

And here is Millsap getting to see it:

From Darren Rovell, via ThePostGame:

“We’re competing against a lot of other options in the entertainment space,” Peter Sorckoff, the Hawks’ senior vice president of marketing, told Rovell. “And our managing partner Bruce Levenson wanted us to do something big to blow people away.”

For those traveling in Atlanta, you won’t miss this along I-85.

  1. I certainly know who Paul Milsap is. I have followed the Jazz since 1997 and because of Paul being with Atlanta now I have changed to being a Hawk fan. If he stays in Atlanta then next year I will buy the NBA package so I can see the games. I haven’t gotten to watch very many. I am 63 yrs old, female, and live in Montana.
