Just because Max Scherzer is busy trying to help send the Detroit Tigers to another World Series appearance doesn’t mean he isn’t busy paying attention to college football. Scherzer is a Missouri Tigers alum, and the university had their biggest win in years, or at least since joining the SEC last year.
The former Big 12 Pitcher of the Year, MU Hall of Fame member, and Mizzou’s first-ever first-round draft pick celebrated the team’s 41-26 victory by wearing a shirt that already commemorated the victory. He was spotted wearing it while meeting with the press prior to the start of Game 1 of the ALCS:
Max Scherzer shows up in interview room with 41-26 on his sweatshirt: "That's the Mizzou football score against Georgia today."

How he got it so fast is still a mystery (it is just the score on an MLB shirt), and normally we are not fans of shirts made in regards to a regular season game. But we are making an exception since Scherzer is the likely AL Cy Young winner, and because, well, it was Georgia that Missouri beat.
