gty_aaron_hernandez_ll_130618_wgAccording to WBZ NewsRadio 1030, New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will be charged with obstruction of justice in the murder investigation of Odin Lloyd. An arrest warrant has been issued according to the report.

Earlier in the day on Thursday, reports surfaced that Hernandez destroyed surveillance footage from his home, turned over a broken cell phone to police, and had a professional cleaning crew came to the house on Monday, the same day that Lloyd’s body was found, less than a mile from Hernandez’s North Attleboro home.

Other evidence linking Hernandez to the Lloyd are that of a rented car driven by Lloyd that was in the name of Hernandez, along with the two being seen with one another on the night that Lloyd died. Lloyd dated the sister of Hernandez’s girlfriend.

According to the report, there is a chance that the charges could be upgraded at some point. Hernandez stopped cooperating with police after he hired his attorney.

Hernandez is now also facing a lawsuit which was re-opened, claiming he shot a man in the face a few months ago, which caused him to lose vision in his eye.

UPDATE: The Boston Globe is reporting that no arrests or warrants for arrest have been made.

UPDATE #2: ABC News reports that warrant for arrest has been prepped.
