The Morning After: August 23, 2011

There was a new wrinkle in the Miami situation yesterday, as news came out that Nevin Shapiro had spoken with the Right Reverend Houston Dale Nutt about the possibility of becoming the head football coach in Coral Gables.  The fact that this didn’t come to fruition means that we have all been stolen from.  We have all been denied the opportunity to see Reverend Nutt stand at the right hand of Frank Costanza Donna Shalalalalalalala and sermonize at a press conference.  Miami fans (all ten of them) have been denied the opportunity to experience even wider spread cheating and impermissible benefits.  Is there anyone we can petition for a redress of these grievances?  On the plus side, we might get a sermon or two out of Nutt when he addresses the claim.  Links and such after the jump.

How is this a wrinkle? It seems mor elike an insignificant detail.

That’s a pretty weak shot coming from a Tech fan.

shit, I’m guessing the reason no one ever heard about this at the time was because hootie floated his name out for every job opening every year in search of a raise.
